SAM.gov integration now live
NexusCold today announced SAM.gov integration. The US federal contractor registry is now an enrichment source for all Pro tier customers. Returns verified EIN, UEI, DUNS, NAICS codes, expiration, and contract history.
SAM.gov (System for Award Management) is the US federal contractor registry maintained by GSA. NexusCold's integration uses the official Entity Information API v3, requiring a free API key obtainable from sam.gov.
For each company in the upload CSV, the integration searches by company_name and returns: EIN (Employer Identification Number), UEI (Unique Entity Identifier, replaced DUNS in 2022), DUNS (legacy, still returned by SAM.gov), NAICS codes (industry classification), registration expiration date, and contract history (last 5 awards).
The integration is free (no per-call cost), included in Pro tier and above. Starter tier uses only the 5 free sources (DDG, Bing, Google, Clearbit, Website scraping) — no SAM.gov. Upgrade to Pro to unlock federal contractor enrichment.
Use cases: due diligence on prospective federal contractors, vendor prospecting for the Beltway market (Washington DC, Northern Virginia, Maryland), AB5 gig-worker classification research (SAM.gov flags 1099 vs W-2 patterns).
